Here are 10 of the hundreds of films I love. I chose them because I think they could be on the final list of the “100 greatest films of all time”. I could have chosen The Miracle Woman (Capra, 1931), Jofroi (Pagnol, 1933), Stella Dallas (Vidor, 1937), Stars in My Crown (Tourneur, 1949), Cyrano et d'Artagnan (Gance, 1964), Red Line 7000 (Hawks, 1965), Frenzy (Hitchcock, 1972), The Choirboys (Aldrich, 1977), The Big Red One (Fuller, 1980), Visages de femmes (Ecaré, 1985)... But do they have a chance of being on the final list ?
