Central Library, Cambridge - which has now openedĀ in the heart of the historic university city - is home to 'the East of England's Mediatheque. Offering over 1500 complete films and TV programmes, including more than 100 depicting life in Cambridgeshire and the East of England, the BFI Mediatheque will be open seven days a week and free for everyone to enjoy.

Cambridgeshire's flagship public library is an exciting cultural venue offering an extensive collection of fiction and non-fiction, music and film, a hi-tech learning centre and world renowned archive - The Cambridgeshire Collection. Central Library, Cambridge will host exhibitions, author talks, workshops and educational events for both adults and children.
