Céline, a young novice nun, is sent back into the world to discover her path. Ill-at-ease with her well-heeled parents, she meets and hits it off with Yassine, a volatile young man from the Paris banlieues, and his brother Nassir, whose religious convictions resonate with Céline's own. A tantalising and provocative film, a multi-layered dialogue between city and country, faith and fanaticism, Catholicism and Islam.
This film runs 105min (not 120min as previously published) and has been given a 12A certificate.
