Directed by Bava with his customary imaginative flair, this sly, decidedly over-the-top adaptation of an Italian comic stars Law as a masked, leather-clad master thief, with an underground lair and a curvaceous, blonde sidekick (Mell), who continually outwits the stuffy authorities with his nefarious schemes. With a fabulous Ennio Morricone score, a healthy dose of Bond gadgetry and a series of elaborately staged set pieces.
