LoCo Discovery Screening: Black Pond

A darkly comic tale of an ordinary family accused of murder.

LoCo are delighted to announce this year's LoCo Discovery Screening feature film. Chosen from a shortlist by a panel of industry experts, the LoCo Discovery film is a new British comedy that does not yet have UK distribution. This year's feature film is Black Pond:

An ordinary British family are accused of murder when a stranger, Blake, dies at their dinner table. Black Pond is a darkly comic account of the events leading up to Blake's death, intercut with scenes from the fateful therapy session between family friend Tim and his analyst and talking head interviews in which the Thompsons try to justify their actions and clear the family name. Black Pond is one of the Guardian First Film Award nominees 2012.

The LoCo Discovery film will be preceded by 2012 London Short Film Festival Comedy Award winning short:
