Our Mutual Friend

Nordisk made four Dickens films under the direction of AW Sandberg, now considered the most faithful adaptations of the silent era. Though Great Expectations, David Copperfield and Little Dorrit are relatively well known, Our Mutual Friend has long been in the process of restoration. Now, for the first time in 90 years, there is the chance to assess this Danish version of Dickens' last completed book, one of his most complex, romantic and socially satirical works.
