Making a comedy out of the bloodiest of 1989's revolutions might seem a high-risk strategy for a feature debutant, but this is both laugh-out-loud funny and surprisingly profound. A self-important local television chat-show host decides to commemorate the revolution by interviewing key participants, only to end up with a washed-up history lecturer (betraying his principles by lying outrageously about his involvement) and an elderly Santa Claus impersonator.
