Fish Tank

Wild teenager Mia is struggling to survive a claustrophobic home life with her neurotic mother and lippy sister

• 22 November - 2 December

Wild teenager Mia is struggling to survive a claustrophobic home life with her neurotic mother and lippy sister, when her mother begins to date the charismatic Connor (an excellent Michael Fassbender). His easy-going nature makes him a supportive figure for Mia and her dreams of becoming a dancer. But with friendship comes attraction and the realisation that Connor has secrets. Arnold nurtures a powerful performance from newcomer Kate Jarvis to realise a perceptive and sympathetic portrait of a young woman searching for her identity.

Unfortunately, the distributor of Fish Tank did not produce a digital version of the film with Hearing Impaired Subtitles and performances on Tue 17 Nov and Sun 29 Nov will therefore be screened without them. We apologise for any disappointment.
