Retired FBI profiler Eastwood receives a visit from the sister of a murdered woman whose heart he received in a transplant a couple of years previously, and is asked to look into the unsolved crime - doing so, he uncovers odd links between the past and present. The pleasing twists and turns of the script keep us guessing, while Jeff Daniels and Anjelica Huston lend characteristically sterling support to Eastwood's lead.
