Enchanted

Once upon a time, Princess Giselle falls in love with the charming Prince Edward and they make plans for a magical, musical life together. Edward's mother, an evil Queen, thwarts their plans by banishing our fairytale princess to an over-populated world of bright lights, loud noises and mean streets - the princess has arrived in modern day New York City. Being out of her traditional setting, Giselle's ways seem unorthodox in our world, whether it be her habit of addressing strangers in the street as if they are her friends or cleaning the appartment with the assistance of rats, birds and other creatures whilst singing a show-stopping tune. Will Princess Giselle ever return home to her fairytale world or does Manhattan hold the key for her to finally live happily ever after?

Book-ended by nine minutes of new Disney 2D animation, the first in a theatrical feature for many years, Enchanted contains all the classic features of a Disney family film, with great animation, a prestigious live action cast and an enchanting score by the award-winning musical partnership of Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz.
