Karl Marx meets the Marx Brothers as Celeste (Laffont) investigates a ceremony in which Ruby (Christie) is taken to the bank with gold. Fairytale-style, Celeste rides up on a white charger and rescues Ruby from the ball, setting her on a spiralling journey through memory and a stunning Icelandic landscape.
