This rich documentary follows the late, great Senagalese film-maker Ousmane Sembene from the Pan-African Film Festival in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, back to the streets of Dakar and his home at Yoff, overlooking the sea. Revisiting several locations of his films, Sembene reminisces about his career and discusses his craft.

Plus Borom Sarret (Senegal 1966. 20min. EST), Sembene's first film to have been made entirely in his homeland.
