What's On at BFI IMAX

We are pleased to announce that the BFI IMAX auditorium has now been completely refurbished. New plush seating and new carpeting have been installed throughout the entire auditorium. We have also installed a range of premium seating in response to customer requests.

Premium Seats (Centre block, rows L - S): Get the best seats in the house with wider, more comfortable chairs and relax with a perfect view of the screen. Includes a row of cosy double seats (Centre Block Row P)*

Watching a film at the BFI IMAX is completely immersive. Our screen is more than 20 metres high (that's nearly the height of five double-decker buses!) and 26 metres wide. With 11,600-watts of digital surround-sound and the most sophisticated motion-picture projection system in the world, you will literally feel like you are 'in the picture'.

So with brand new plush seating (including double seats for close friends) and a selection of drinks and snacks available from our licensed bar/cafe, we offer the ultimate cinema experience.
