Volunteer Opportunities for the 63rd BFI London Film Festival

2-13 October 2019

The BFI London Film Festival is the UK’s biggest public film event. In 2018, the festival premiered over 400 films from over 50 countries. It also provides a professional delegate service for members of the international film industry and international press as well as a number of public, industry and educational events.

All this would not be possible without the support of our festival volunteers, who assist with various activities including hospitality, meeting and greeting guests, signposting, providing support and information. The contribution of our volunteers helps make the festival happen.

We are seeking volunteers with excellent communication skills, a friendly manner and the ability to deal effectively with people at all levels. Some prior event or administrative experience is a bonus but not essential as we will provide opportunities to develop your skills.

Volunteers will be based at BFI Southbank (nearest station is Waterloo) but there may also be the opportunity to assist at some of the other festival venues. In return for your time we will provide an allowance for travel and food, plus a chance to enjoy and experience the festival itself.

Further details about the post, including an application form, can be obtained by visiting bfi.org.uk/about-bfi/job-opportunities.

The closing date for applications is midnight Thursday 12th September 2019.
