The BFI Animation Camp 2022 is delivered by Calling the Shots in association with Aardman Animations (Wallace and Gromit, Early Man, A Sean The Sheep Movie) and UWE School of Animation.

During this residential course, you will team up with other budding animators to create and screen your own stop motion animation, which will be screened at The Cube Cinema in Bristol. You’ll also get the chance to tour the world-famous Aardman Animations and visit the animation department at UWE.

This is a week-long residential course and takes place in person at Barton Camp in Somerset between 19 to 25 February 2022.

During the week, you will take part in technical animation workshops and masterclasses, learning how to bring inanimate objects to life and discovering what it takes to be a stop-motion animator.

Alongside practical workshops, there will be sessions with industry professionals so that you can gain a better understanding of career routes into the industry.
