Denmark in the 90s competition

Win a Danish themed goody bag!

The Hunt at the Almeida Theatre

The Hunt at the Almeida Theatre

To tie in with the BFI’s screenings of Festen this July – screening as part of the BFI’s Nineties: Young Cinema Rebels season – we’ve put together a fun-filled Danish goody bag. Contents include:

  • A pair of tickets to Festen at BFI Southbank (17 and 27 July). Festen was the first film of the Dogme 95 movement initiated by Thomas Vinterberg and Lars von Trier, a filmmaking manifesto that emphasised story, theme, acting and simple production values over special effects, elaborate lighting and technical tricks.
  • PLUS two tickets* to see the The Hunt at the Almeida Theatre based on the critically acclaimed Danish film thriller Jagten, by Thomas Vinterberg and Tobias Lindholm. The production is directed by Artistic Director Rupert Goold and adapted by David Farr (The Night Manager, Spooks). Cast includes Tobias Menzies (The Crown, Outlander).
  • And finally a copy of the Pocket Rough Guide Copenhagen. Discover this fashionable city with the most incisive and entertaining travel guide on the market. Whether you plan to explore Slotsholmen, cycle round Christiana or hit the food stalls of Torvehallerne, Pocket Rough Guide Copenhagen will show you the ideal places to sleep, eat, drink, shop and visit along the way.

To win simply email filmcompetitions@bfi.org.uk with Denmark in the subject header by 5pm 30 June.
