Investigates the safety of the nuclear fuel reprocessing operations, past and present, at Windscale in Cumbria, and the threat they pose to the environment. The filmmakers carried out research into the area's health going back twenty five years and their findings revealed an unexplained high level of cancer in the children of the seaside villages fof the region at a rate of five times the national average.
