Discussion of the use of a radioisotope tracer to demonstrate the dynamic nature of an equilibrium using thorium nitrate is followed by a demonstration of the effect of adding alternately water and hydrochloric acid to a solution of bismuth chloride. Deals with gaseous equilibrium using dinitrogen tetroxide/nitrogen dioxide system
