Synopsis

Documentary report on British membership of the EEC. In 1975 a bus load of British citizens were taken on a day trip to the continent and asked about their attitudes to EEC membership. In 1980 they are asked if their opinions have changed. A follow-up programme to WORLD IN ACTION: A BUS ROUND THE MARKET (see BNFC Vol. 13), in which a cross-section of Britons are taken on a bus tour through Europe gathering views about the Common Market. Includes contributions by Lord George-Brown and Clive Jenkins.
