In 1984 Father Jerzy Popieluszko (an outspoken supporter of the banned Solidarity Movement) was kidnapped, with his driver, by three security guards. The driver escaped, but Popieluszko was killed, causing an international outcry. This programme dramatises the trials that followed these events.
