Madness (1982)

Film details

In the summer of 1961 Richard Johnson was a promising undergraduate at Oxford University and one of their finest actors. Within three months he was confined to a psychiatric hospital; the first of nine such admissions in the next 20 years. He was diagnosed as suffering from schizophrenia. Particular insights come from another disease such as that suffered by Terry-Thomas who like Richard never gives up.
