A Letter from Liz (1965)

Film details


A film promoting cheque books and bank accounts for women, particulary young women. Lizl writes a letter to a friend explaining descirbing moving into a flat for the first time with her friend Anne. Liz opens a bank account, whilst Anne is put off by her brother-in-law, casuign financial problems. By the end of the film Liz has a new love, Anne has her old one and her own bank account. Contains short animated sequences and titles, and makes comic use of silent moview footage.
