Film details


A famous artist dies in mysterious circumstances and his young wife is accused of his murder. Rumpole, on a strict diet to lose weight, suspects that the artist may have committed suicide. Head of Chambers, Samuel Ballard, is leading Rumpole in the trial. Then an injury sends Ballard away from court, leaving Rumpole free to step in.
