The last programme in an eight-part series on sport. Investigates the modern day enthusiasm for taking part in sport, which is demonstrated by people from Bondi Beach to the Swiss Alps and Central Park, but refuted by a recent survey which suggests that children are less fit than they were a generation ago. The decline in support in the former Soviet Union and the suspicion that, in the west, television has more supporters than exercise are also discussed. Considers whether the ideal of "sport for all" could ever be more than a dream.
