Synopsis

Travels through England, America, and Italy to meet art historians to discuss the paintings of Piero della Francesca. Uses a combination of virtual reality and computer graphics to explore his legacy and to reveal the intensity of his pioneering use of perspective. Contributors include painter Tom Phillips, composer Sir Harrison Birtwistle, writer John Mortimer, and art experts Sir John Pope-Hennessy, Professor Martin Kemp, Professor B.A.R. Carter, Professor Marilyn Lavin and Nicholas Penny.
