Sir Harry Secombe makes a pilgrimage to the North East of England and stops off Heavenfield near Hexham; the holy island of Lindisfarne; Hexham Abbey with its choir; St Paul's at Jarrow; St Mary's and St Cuthbert's at Chester-le-Street; Easington Colliery; and Durham Cathedral. Along the way he meets Richard Clayderman who appeared on the first ever HIGHWAY.
