Set in the year 2000, when resistance to the white, military dictatorship, enforced by the sinister Greyshirts, is growing. Vijay Lall, a young Asian, struggles to resolve his dilemma about the world around him. With forced repatriation an everyday reality, he questions the authority of the state and the family, and challenges his father's compliance with the system. As he gets involved in street demonstrations and his siter, Sunita, is arrested and tortured, Vijay finds himself caught in the crossfire of his father's past and his sister's future world. He chooses armed resistance.
