Synopsis

About the life and mystery of Kaspar Hauser, a "wild boy" found in Nuremberg in 1828. He quickly learned to read and write and claimed he was kept in a prison-like hole for his first 16 years. He was murdered under mysterious circumstances some years later, and Hauser's true identity is still not known. One theory suggested in the film is that he was the true heir to the Dukedom of Baden and the victim of a complicated court intrigue.
