Looks at how far science has come in treating infertility and how far it is prepared to go. Includes footage of in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) surgery, showing the collection of microscopic eggs from would-be mothers, the moment life is created and the replacement of the fertilised egg in the womb. Investigates the emotive issue of using eggs from aborted foetuses to make babies from mothers who never lived, and also tackles the dilemma over providing fertility treatment to women past the menopause.
