Synopsis

Drama centring around the issues of female infanticide in India and society's attitudes towards eunuchs. Based on the real life story of Tikku, an eunuch who rescues an unwanted baby girl who has been thrown into a garbage bin. He names her Tamanna and brings her up with much hardship. When Tamanna is eighteen years old, she discovers that Tikku is a hijra (eunuch) and after the initial trauma, decides to find her real father, who once again rejects her. Eventually, she chooses to be with her adopted family.
