Word-processing (1994)

Film details

Synopsis

The first programme in a seven-part series which explores the numerous applications and common pitfalls of computers. In each programme, the presenter Juliet Morris, who is setting up her own computer system at home, goes out to visit people who are using a variety of equipment in order to learn more about what is available. Case-studies range from the small business owner/manager to a large research organisation. In this programme, she looks at word-processing and ponders whether using a word-processor can make you a better writer, and if it makes you more critical of your own work.
