Synopsis

The fourth two-part programme in a six-part series about art being commissioned and made for people's homes. Two artists and their chosen "clients" are featured. The two parts are: `Nina Saunders meets Sally Leslie, bee-keeper' and `Hadrian Pigott meets John Butcher, musician'. In the first, British-based Danish artist, Nina Saunders is inspired by a discarded chair to think of bees, and uses knowledge she gains from her client about bee behaviour to create a new swarm in her living room. In the second, sculptor Hadrian Pigott creates an out of reach saxophone for his avant-garde saxophonist client.
