Black and White (1999)

Drama. The story looks at the fascination for a section of young white society with black culture - particular rap and hip-hop. One of the main protagonists is Rich, a young black man with his fingers in several financial and business `pies', who is troubled by an undercover policeman posing as a gambler, who offers Rich's basketball-playing friend Dean large sums of money to lose a college game. Meanwhile, a young woman, Sam, is making a documentary about rap and black culture on the streets of New York City, bringing her into contact with prominent members of the `scene'.
