Synopsis

First in a series of one-hour editions in which people in Great Britain and the Soviet Union talk to each other live by satelitte. A selected studio audience of celebrities, experts and members of the public from all works of life gathered in the Thames studio question a similar audience in the Gosteleradio studio in Moscow.

Note: Over 200 million viewers in the Soviet Union were expected to watch the programme.
