AK 47 (1999)

Film details

Action film centred around an innocent student from a middle-class religious background with a very disciplined family who gets caught up fighting with gangsters. Later he is framed for the murder of Police Commissioner Yeshwant Sinha. Although Ram's mother is very protective, his father disowns him and he has to find a way out of the mess in which he has become involved. The title of the film refers to the famous Russian weapon which he uses to fight corruption and injustice, emphasising that it can be used positively rather than negatively as a weapon by terrorists promoting hatred.
