The Three Bears (1999)

Film details

When a Soviet submarine surfaces in the dykes of England's flatlands, its occupants are forced to abandon their vessel in search of fuel. But the hapless Russians are captured by the feisty Mrs. Garrett while attempting to raid her coal bunker. Mutual suspicions are overcome during tea and cake, and dialectic about some of the finer points of Marxism reveals a common bond. So much so, in fact, that Mrs Garrett decides to head back to the Soviet Union in the refuelled submarine with her new found comrades.
