Synopsis

Looks at the rapid rise and fall of the some of the first dotcom companies. Nils Blythe reports on how the value of Internet company shares was relentlessly inflated by the very people who were supposedly giving impartial advice to investors. Whilst millions of small investors lost their savings, some financial advisors gained huge bonuses. Contributors include Jeff Bezos, founder and chief executive of Amazon.com.
