Synopsis
Jeremy Taylor introduces songs from the Two Brewers pub in Salford. Jackie and Bridie sing Ewan MacColl's ode to Salford, "Dirty Old Town", Magna Carta sing about a fair maiden in "Elizabethan" and in "Romeo Jack" send up the amorous tendencies of their Australian guitarist. Pete Stanley and Brian Golby play instrumental music in a bluegrass style on banjo and guitar and banjo and fiddle. Jeremy Taylor sings a satirical song about a Chelsea couple and their perfect home and is joined by Jackie and Bridie for the final song: a humorous number about a couple who drive too slowly in the outside lane of the motorway.
