Synopsis

Winnipeg's foremost film-maker Guy Maddin is the star player of the Winnipeg Maroons ice-hockey team and boyfriend of the beautiful Veronica, and a coward when it comes to any form of relationship. His inability to face adult responsibilities like a man leads him into a tangled plot involving a vengeful women, mad doctors, hand transplants, strangulation and living waxworks. The films was originally commissioned as an art installation for Toronto's Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery.
