The nouvelle vague is one of the best-known and celebrated film movements emanating from France in the late 1950s. This event focusing on Les Quatre cents coups (The 400 Blows, 1959) is aimed at AS and A2 students who wish to learn more about François Truffaut and this cult film, emblematic of the French New Wave. The workshop will look at different extracts of the film, and look for French New Wave particularities, as well as the direct link between the film and its director François Truffaut. The event will be conducted in French.
