Applications for UK Attendance CPH:DOX Market

The BFI in collaboration with Doc Society is inviting applications from UK documentary producers to take part at the online CPH:DOX market 2021.

CPH:DOX is one of the biggest international documentary film festivals worldwide, where major international directors and new talent both find a space to present their works and network with the industry. The festival attracts both, large-scale theatrical releases to film/video works in the field between cinema and visual art, offering perspectives on creative crossovers between cinema, television and media art.

The objective of the initiative is to increase the UK presence at International markets and specifically to support producers developing their International/European networks and push their co-production projects forward.

In 2021, the CPH:DOX market will be a hybrid edition, but with most of the industry programme set to take place online. As an official international delegation you will be able to participate in:

  • film screenings
  • CPH:CONFERENCE with case studies and keynotes
  • CPH:FORUM
  • a networking co-production event
  • a live presentation about you and your company to CPH:INDUSTRY delegates
  • roundtables, where you will be able to pitch your projects

Who can apply

Applications are welcomed from experienced producers ideally with co-production experience or interest, and emerging producers, ideally with a project. Applicants will be able to demonstrate success or ambition to grow on an international level, and should ideally have viable projects, but this is not a requirement.

Producers will be selected on the basis of their previous experience and credits, and their interest and motivation to grow internationally, and expand their international networks.
