With a custom-made augmented reality application, accessed via a tablet or a smartphone, the 10 double-pages of a book become the stage for a short dance performance. With a simple stroke, monochrome ink drawings and white folded paper come together to reveal the virtual life of miniature beings ensconced in an imaginary world, whose being interacts with the flow of water. This experience lies at the crossroads of theatre, dance, comic books, animated film and ‘artsy’ video game. It tells the tale of a disaster, unique yet universal. It is a story of loss and searching, grappling with a fear of the bizarre and otherness, and how to tame it.

The book was supported by a Kickstarter fundraising campaign. The company wishes to thank all contributors who made this first edition possible.
