Few dreams have kept humankind’s imagination more occupied than the desire to take flight. Countless myths, tales and stories unfold around this unreachable goal. Arguably the most famous is the story of Icarus, the young man reached too closely for the sun and fell from the sky as his wings melted from its heat. Michel Lemieux and his artistic partner Victor Pilon have turned this tale into a visually striking VR experience, constantly shifting perspectives between Icarus and his father before allowing you to spread your wings to fly into the heavens. Accompanied by Maxim Lepage’s musical score, it’s a thrilling take on a classic story whose visual and aural invention envelops you.
