South London resident Albert Yanney completed a degree in media and cultural studies at the University of East London in 2004. He later gained an MA in global media studies from the same university. His reading and research interests include British film and television, African American cinema, digital media, history, global politics and current affairs.
He has written for various online news outlets and has attained journalistic experience at The Voice and Daily Mirror newspapers respectively. Albert joined The British Blacklist editorial staff in 2013 and predominantly conducts interviews with entertainment industry professionals, insiders as well as newcomers.
