An Autumn Tale is a light-hearted romantic comedy about life, love and relationships. Best friends Magali, a widow, and Isabelle, a happily married book-shop owner, have known each other since childhood. Isabelle decides to secretly find Magali a suitable man. Placing an ad in a lonely hearts column, Isabelle chooses a man for Magali. However, things don’t go quite to plan when Magali sees Isabelle behaving mischievously with an unknown guest at her daughter’s wedding.
