Consequences of Love

Titta, a middle-aged man from southern Italy, spends eight years living anonymously and alone in a hotel in Switzerland, impassively watching life go by. His detachment from the world is complete until he meets Sofia – at this point his neatly organised world turns upside down. The Consequences of Love is an ice-cool, gripping, psychological thriller, which screened in Competition at the Cannes Film Festival 2004.
