You Ought To Be In Pictures
Dir. Friz Freleng
US 1940 | Black & white | 8 mins | Animation | Hollywood Classics
As the clock strikes midday the animators vanish from their
desks, abandoning the studio to Porky and Daffy. At the conniving suggestion of Daffy, Porky confronts real life Looney Tunes producer, Leon Schlesinger who agrees to tear up his contract to enable Porky to begin a new career in features. A wonderful satire on Hollywood studio intrigue as well as a side-swipe at the relative status of Termite Terrace to that of the main studios.
