“He was a giant for work”: Michal Leszczylowski, editor of The Sacrifice, on Andrei Tarkovsky
Now 40 years old, Andrei Tarkovsky’s final film The Sacrifice returns to cinemas this week. In this piece from our Autumn 1987 issue, the film’s editor Michal Leszczylowski recounts the year he spent collaborating with Tarkovsky, who fell ill shortly after shooting concluded.
