Chris Hall

Chris is the Television Project Curator for the TV-am collection.

Chris is a trained film and media archivist who has previously worked with the Yorkshire Film Archive (YFA), contributing to BFI projects including Unlocking Film Heritage and Britain on Film. He has extensive knowledge and experience of working with television collections, particularly those from regional ITV, having worked in various roles at the ITV archive and as a researcher undertaking archive research for numerous productions.

A lover of underground cinema, experimental film and artist moving image, his background is in the visual arts, with experience of programming and artist-led workshops and filmmaking. He is also a passionate music lover, a keen gardener and horticulturist. His recent experience includes working with photographers and organising large digital image collections at the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS).
