Digital Preservation Infrastructure Specialist

Sequoia joined the BFI in 2018. She provides day to day support for the Digital Preservation Infrastructure (DPI) at the National Archive, including the monitoring of the two Tape Libraries and systems connected to the Libraries. She also assists with providing support to users of the Collections Information Database (CID) and the Collections Systems Manager.

Before joining the BFI Sequoia worked as a Civil Servant, in the Mapping and Charting section before gradually transitioning to Database Administration and IT support. She has also been a volunteer at the Chiltern Open Air Museum in her spare time, as well as being a Guide Leader for over 20 years.
